This tepeztate comes from multiple batches of the rare agave, which grows wild off the mountainsides. The plant ages 25-30 years before harvesting and requires a 3rd distillation due to its low sugar content.

This Tepeztate mezcal comes from multiple batches of the rare agave, which likes to root in rocks and grow off mountainsides. Marmorata agaves age anywhere between 15 to 30 years before harvesting and typically require a third distillation due to its lower sugar content.
